Spring has finally sprung!  And to celebrate, I’m writing in green.  

It’s understood that when a new season hits, so do all the new trends, styles, and COLORS.  And since we all know that Spring has the best variety of color, where better to put them than on a great seasonal staple?

Colored. Shorts. Are. SO. In.

 So which stores are getting it right?

Nasty gal wins “Most Creative” on this.  They’ve taken your typical pair of shorts and either switched up the silhouette, added pleats, or hiked them up to hot shorts.  Bravo, NG. Bravo.

If we mixed these two, I think I’d have a powerhouse.  If the Express shorts weren’t $60 (60 dollars?!) and G had a bigger color variety in one style – like lilac, teal, or yellow – then I think I could choose my favorite.  So, tie.

My overall choice?

Forever 21 rarely disappoints when it comes to variety, and for $13.50, I could wipe out all their entire stock without burning a hole in my new shorts’ pockets.

So go snag a pair!  You can stay cool, while looking HOT.
